Spandex entering into slack season, may recover after the Spring Festival

PUWORLD (2015-02-11) – Spandex market is currently in off season since downstream textile enterprises are starting take a holiday for the coming Spring Festival and it may recover after the holiday, according to the announcement made by Taihe New Material on this Wednesday.

The company will benefit form the decreasing international crude oil prices in terms of raw material cost reduction. However, the supply and demand picture is the key factor that decides the short-term price changes of raw materials. In addition, Taihe also revealed that some of the aramid fiber products are sold through e-commerce.

Tiahe New Material mainly covers the business of the development, production as well as the marketing of spandex fiber and aramid fiber portfolios.
