BASF’s BMW concept car MySetta based on a BMW Isetta 250, was sold in November for over EUR26,000 ($27,500) with proceeds given to the Save the Children.
The company rounded the figure up to EUR30,000.
Called MySetta, the car features Elastoflex W PU foam for the seating and the firm’s Steron polyurethane dispersions were used in the upholstering, giving a soft-touch finish to interior surfaces. It featured on the cover of Urethanes Technology International Magazine in October/November 2013.
The money will be used to build a community-managed sanitation facility in India’s capital Delhi.
