Japan ethylene output falls in December 2015

Japanese ethylene production in December 2015 fell 2.5% from December 2014 earlier to
614,100 tons, data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry was reported by Reuters.

As it was informed earlier, Japanese ethylene production in November fell 0.9 percent from the same month a year earlier to 583,200 tonnes.

Ethylene, made from naphtha, is a basic feedstock for petrochemicals that are processed into products such as plastics.
